During a recent interview, Ronda Rousey, the former MMA champion and WWE performer, revealed her ideal opponent on who she’d love to fight if she ever made a comeback in MMA.

According to US Weekly, Rousey expressed her admiration for Gina Carano and named her as her dream MMA opponent. Rousey was inspired by Carano’s performances, which led her to embark on her own MMA journey in 2011.

Gina Carano, a pioneer in women’s MMA. She’s the one who put the sport on the map. But her last fight was way back in 2009, and she’s been all about the acting since then. Despite their different paths, Rousey’s wish for a potential matchup with Carano remains strong.

Rousey vs Carano fight? It seems unlikely, Rousey is almost five years younger, and Carano has focused on her successful acting career and hasn’t competed in the sport for over 14 years.

However, an octagon rematch between Rousey and Carano would be a dream matchup for many MMA fans.
